Description
Keeping a sports pitch or golf course in prime condition is a year-round challenge, and there are plenty of reasons to be filling with sand — during construction and during maintenance. Either way you need to apply it accurately, in varying quantities.
The GKB Sandspreader distributes a wide variety of materials in the quantities you specify. It is developed and produced in GKB’s energy-neutral Dutch plant using S355 MC steel and Bucher hydraulics — choices that come straight out of the experience of their own contracting division. These machines can take a few knocks.
Sand travels along a conveyor belt to a metering valve, then onto double hydraulically powered spreading discs that adjust at multiple points for genuinely even distribution. The shape of the bunker keeps your view along the machine clear while you work.
Four sizes, 1m³ to 4m³
From the compact SP100 up to the SP400, so the machine matches the site rather than the other way round.
Turftruck or balloon tyres
The SP100 mounts on a ProGator, Truckster or Workman; every model is also available on four pivoting balloon tyres for even weight distribution.
Double spreading discs
Hydraulically powered and adjustable on multiple points, which is what gives you a genuinely even spread.
Conveyor and metering valve
Sand is carried by conveyor to a metering valve — optionally a hydraulically adjustable one.
Control unit on the machine
Set conveyor belt and disc speeds from the control unit as standard.
Premium materials
S355 MC steel and Bucher hydraulics, specified from GKB’s own contracting experience.
Clear sight lines
The shape and design of the bunker keeps your view along the machine open while spreading.
